TRASPASADA CHICAGO


traspasada is my favorite taqueria in chicago... they are from jalisco (guadalajara) and they do it up right..

heres my favorite meal: torta ahogado (drowned sandwich) which consists of torta bread, braised pork, grilled onions, avocado, and cilantro.. then its covered in a very spicy broth made from chile de arbol (like a spicy as hell dried chile) and tomato.... these are pretty much only found in and around guadalajara and the locals pride themselves that people that arent from there find this way way to spicy... along side two chorizo tacos with cebolla y cilantro and rice and beans... bangin $9 meal
